Decorating your college bedroom is vital to prevent it from feeling like a prison and a dungeon. You'll spend most of your days dropping in on others, and being dropped in on yourself. So it is important to make your room homely.
Sculpteo has recently launched a contest targeted at students to create objects to redecorate their dorm room / studio. You and your team need to design a useful and/or decorative object for your student room. The object needs to be small (10x10x10cm), fun and fit in easily in the context of a student bedroom. It could be an object for the bedside table, desk, anything, you just need to create a 3D printable file to turn into reality.
The first prize is a trip to the 3D Print Show in New York. Each member of the winning team will win the trip to New York to exhibit their creation at Sculpteo's stand at the 3D Printshow between the 13th and 15th February 2014. The second and the third place team will have their creation printed in 3D by Sculpteo (Maximum €100-per-object-and-per-team value).
This document must be submitted before February 2nd 2014. The accepted formats are .STL or .OBJ. To get tips and guidelines on creating 3D printable files, check out the contest on Studyka platform.
