Lublin, Poland based company 3D Proto has just launched flexFORM, a 3D printer that anyone can use with ease.
The flexFORM is a simple, plug & play 3D printer that comes with a filament feeder. Its unique auto-grip system allows the user to change the filament spool in just a minute. You can simply insert the filament spool in the slot located at the base of the machine and the 3D printer will grasp automatically the end of the spool and connect it to the extruder.
The flexForm comes with a metal case with LED lighting and can create objects as large as 7.87 x 7.87 x 7.08 inches / 200 x 200 x 180 mm. In addition to an built-in auto bed leveling system, the device also features heated bed which minimizes material shrinkage.
Its user interface is controlled on a 7-inch touchscreen tablet which is tethered to the front face. You can remove the tablet and control the printer or check on the print process from anywhere in the house.

Sigh - Another over thought design built around a typical Reprap design.
