Israeli 3D printed electronics company Nano Dimension Ltd. has announced that Avi Reichental, former president, chief executive officer, and director at 3D Systems, has joined its board of directors. Nano Dimension is best known for its 3D printed multi-layer PCB technology and its DragonFly 2020 PCB 3D printer.
Serving as former president of 3D Systems, Avi Reichental helped lead the 3D printing giant to where it stands now: as a leader in 3D printing technologies and systems. Under his leadership, 3D Systems reportedly saw its revenue grow six-fold and its market valuation increase more than twelve-fold.
Currently, and in addition to joining Nano Dimension’s board of directors, Reichental serves as a general partner at OurCrowd First, an Israeli early-stage venture fund which is focused primarily on investing in high-tech companies. Reichental is also the founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of XponentialWorks, a venture investment, advisory, and product development firm.
With his extensive experience in both the tech and 3D printing industries, it is no wonder that Nano Dimension is excited to have brought Reichental on board. Amit Dror, president and CEO of Nano Dimension, commented on the appointment, saying: “Avi disrupted the 3D printing industry and showed that success comes from challenging the status quo.”
“I am very pleased he is joining our board of directors as we continue to grow Nano Dimension for long-term profitable growth. Avi is an experienced executive, parallel entrepreneur, and visionary. He has relevant and profound global insights into the field of additive manufacturing that we believe will be immensely valuable to Nano Dimension,” he continued.

Reichental also commented on his new position, saying: "I am excited to join the Nano Dimension Board, and be part of a leading 3D printing tech company that is disrupting, shaping and defining the future of how electronics are made.”
Reichental’s appointment to the board of directors is not the only staff change that Nano Dimension is undergoing. Effective immediately, Nano Dimension directors Zvika Yemini and Yoel Yogev are stepping down from their positions on the board of directors, and Dagi Shachar Ben Noon is stepping down from his position as Chief Operating Officer (though he will maintain his spot on the board of directors).
Founded in 2012, Nano Dimension, Ltd. has grown to become a leader in 3D printed electronics and is continuing to push additive manufacturing technologies forward in its field. Recently, Nano Dimension also branched out into the field of 3D bioprinting with a new subsidiary. The company also recently started shipping its revolutionary DragonFly 2020 PCB 3D printer.
