Polish metrology and 3D scanning company SMARTTECH has released the latest version of its 3D data editing software: SMARTTECH3Dmeasure v. 2018. The company will make a live presentation of the software at TCT Asia 2018.
TCT Asia 2018 looks set to be quite the event, with hundreds of 3D printing, 3D scanning, and 3D software specialists heading to the Shanghai exhibition between March 1-3.
One company presenting its wares will be Poland’s SMARTTECH, a 3D scanning and metrology specialist that is gearing up to release the latest version of its SMARTTECH3Dmeasure software, which is able to measure the distance between points, calculate surface areas, make cross-sections, and compare flatness patterns.
The presentation at TCT Asia 2018 will be SMARTTECH’s first live demonstration of its software in Asia.
SMARTTECH says the 2018 version of its 3D scanning software introduces curvature alignment, allowing users to perform 3D scanning without positioning markers or a rotary stage and to easily acquire cloud points of large objects.
Another useful feature of SMARTTECH3Dmeasure v. 2018 is that it lets users create a triangle mesh “with just one click,” simplifying the measurement results processing to a minimum.
