Weeks after he went viral for the way he ate a Kit Kat bar, a Washington man proposed to his girlfriend in the perfect way – with the help of 3D printing.
Back in May Weekly Standard reporter Haley Byrd tweeted a photo of her boyfriend Evan Wilt eating a Kit Kat, which he bit right into in one piece instead of snapping off a finger like most people. Social media went viral after hundreds of people told her to break up with him over it. In the end, Byrd has revealed she had no plan to dump her boyfriend over his unconventional eating habits and called him 'a keeper'.

On July 4, Byrd posted photos showing Wilt's marriage proposal from the day before. He got down onto one knee in front of the Washington Monument with a ring inside a 3D printed Kit Kat.

Kit Kat went all out to help make this happen. As well as 3D printing the ring box, they also sent a Kit Kat cake to the engagement party. Kit Kat posted on twitter: "From 3D printing to a lil Kit Kat magic, we were happy to give him a break and help with his proposal!"
