Northeast Italy will soon be getting a new 3D printing hub, as Sharebot and HELP3D have announced plans to open the HELP3D Sharebot 3D Store Padova. The new 3D printing store will mark Sharebot’s third location within Italy, following Firenze and Napoli.
The official opening date for Padova’s new 3D printing center is September 9, 2017, and all are invited to check out the new Sharebot location’s equipment and setup on that day. The Italian 3D printer company has even hinted at some store activities for the opening, and said there will be a presentation and demonstration of the store’s 3D printers.
The store itself was conceived of by 3D printer manufacturer Sharebot and HELP3D, a 3D printing company led by Andrea Pirazzini. Through their partnership, Pirazzini will become the manager of the new 3D printing store and will help to distribute Sharebot AM products within the Northeastern part of Italy.
The HELP3D Sharebot 3D Store Padova will feature a number of different 3D printing systems and tech, including Sharebot Spirit, a line of low-cost DLP 3D printers; professional FFF 3D printers Sharebot XXL Plus, Sharebot 42, and Sharebot Q; and Sharebot NG and Sharebot Kiwi-3D, FFF printers geared towards education.
The store will also provide other 3D printing-related technologies and services, such as 3D modeling software, 3D scanning, 3D printing materials, reverse engineering, counseling, and more.
As Sharebot said in a release: “It will be possible to receive assistance and support during the rapid prototyping process, attend courses about the correct use of this innovative technology, and receive advice on the introduction of 3D printing inside the professional workflow and how to install a 3D printer in every factory.”
The ultimate goal of Sharebot’s continued expansion is to establish a comprehensive network of qualified and professional 3D printing teams across Italy, which will help to accelerate the adoption of 3D printing and additive manufacturing processes into local SMEs (small-to-medium enterprises) and get the southern European country more involved in Industry 4.0.
All of Sharebot’s founders are expected to be present at the new Padova store’s opening on September 9, and if you plan to attend there is also the promise of a local award-winning spritz and a selection of “the best Brianza original foods.”
Sharebot was founded in 2011 and has become one of Italy’s leading 3D printer manufacturers.
