Dover (China) Investment Co., Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dover Group (NYSE: DOV), today announced the completion of their strategic investment in 3D printer manufacturer Beijing TierTime Technology (TierTime) in China. Dover will market TierTime's products and services through its worldwide logistics and service network.
The strategic investment will help TierTime to expand its business worldwide. Founded in 2003, TierTime is the first Chinese company manufacturing industrial grade, the Inspire series, and desktop Up! series 3D printers. TierTime manufactures industrial 3D printers and desktop series through its subsidiary, Delta Micro Factory, also known as PP3DP. TierTime announced yesterday its popular model UP! 3D Printer supports the new Windows 8.1 driver system. Customers with an UP! 3D Printer and Windows 8.1 can automatically install the latest UP! 3D Printer driver directly from Windows Update.
